Brick & Mortar of West Hollywood announces the official release of their brand new online Boutique shop!
When Evan Hughes opened Brick & Mortar in 2006 he wanted to create neighborhood boutique that targets style savvy guys who don’t want to buy what every other gay guy already owns. Hughes called the shop Brick & Mortar precisely because he didn’t want an online presence or a mass market men’s store, so the boutique became something of a hidden treasure in the West Hollywood community – in fact you might even miss it if you walked by and were checking out the street’s eye candy instead of paying attention to the shops that line Santa Monica Blvd.
Seven years later Brick & Mortar’s reputation has grown as a place that offers trendy men’s clothing with body conscious fits at affordable prices. It’s also widely regarded as a destination for unique jewelry and accessories, and fun and clever gifts and home goods all geared toward guys.
Finally its owners, Evan Hughes and Stephen Fogg decided it was time to stop fighting fate and they are debuting Brick & Mortar’s online store: www.shopatbrick.com
The launch of the site coincides with their new branding that features their French Bulldog, Maddie. If you happen to stroll into the store on almost any weekend you will likely catch Maddie lounging around the store. Online, Hughes and Fogg hope to capture the same atmosphere by featuring her prominently. They also started a trend blog based on their experiences at men’s clothing shows and what’s appearing on the sunny California streets in West Hollywood.
To celebrate the launch, they are offering a discount site wide through November 30, 2013.
